By ordering you agree to our return and store policies.
Read below to understand clearly our policy and why we are all sales final.
So Sweet Boutique is strictly a specialty store, meaning we special order or offer special occasion wear items in stock. Many of the items direct from the manufacturer. This is why we offer a large selection at GREAT prices. If we allowed returns or exchanges, our selection would be VERY limited and cost the customer an average between 25%- 35% more.
We special order or custom order your items such as your shoes, dresses, suits, outfits and accessories for you in the size and color that you select at time of your order.
Most special occasion - formal wear retailers, specialty stores and boutiques (including ours), do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. Most retail stores, specialty stores and boutiques have a no return policy, no exchange and no cancellation policy in place for a few reasons, one of the MAIN reasons is most of our items are made of delicate fabrics and bead work. It is easy for our items to pick up odors such as pets and cigarette smoke once the become out of our care. For quality control purposes, we do not want any items back to re-sell, that would not be fair to the next customer, nor a child or person who may have allergies.
If an item is purchased in our local storefront or are online stock, it is all sales final as well. No returns or exchanges as we will not ship out an item that has been in your home to another customer nor will it be repurchased again out of our store. This helps assure you the customer you are not getting a used dress or item.
If it is important to be able to exchange or return an item, please shop elsewhere as we have high standards for the items we ship out.
Other reasons: You are measuring yourself or your child and choosing your own size. We are not the ones measuring. Because we have no control over whether you are selecting the correct size or measuring correctly, no refunds/returns/exchanges will be accepted for ordering the incorrect size. PLEASE MEASURE your child carefully. Size chart links are located on each item on our site if the manufacturer has provided them to us. Please have someone measure you if you are ordering an item for yourself. Please understand, we can not see your child or you through the internet or phone and can only guide you to understanding the sizing better.
Please note that ALTERATIONS are needed on MOST formal wear. You will find it hard to find the perfect fit, right off the rack. We are not responsible for alterations and suggest that you have them done locally approximately 7- 14 days prior to your event. We are not the ones measuring them or you and we are not responsible for any sizing errors. If you or your child are in-between sizes, you should order the larger size. We have several tools all over our website to assist you in making a decision. The only exception to our return policy is if we do not make your wear date that is originally listed on your order - at time of order, we will refund in full.
Actual wear date is required on all orders to ensure we can make your event, failure to do so on our part results in a full refund to the customer. There are no cancellations should you fail to list your actual wear date at time of order.
Layaway: Should you put your item on layaway, the deposit is non-refundable.
If you have any questions about an item or the description is not clear enough, please call us prior to ordering. We welcome questions to help you make your final selection. Please note we are not responsible for color variations since each computer moniter displays colors differently. Each manufacturer has their own unique color chart and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please note that the weave and slubs on dupioni raw silk and poly silk fabrics are natural occurances.
We do not offer exchanges from our store stock, this is due to the fact that we are both an internet site and have a physical storefront. In peak season it could take us 30 full days to process a return/exchange. Since the nature of our business is special events and time lines for when items are needed, we do not allow exchanges. Prom season or Christmas could be over before an item could be processed and made available for another customer. Also for quality control of our merchandise, we do not ship them from customer to customer.
Our storefront does not carry all of the manufactuers on the website, as they are stricly internet specials. We attempt to keep our prices the lowest possible and adhere to our policies.
Since we specially ordere items on your behalf at time of order we order in the size and color that you choose, we cannot return them to the manufacturers for an equal exchange. Exchanging an item with a manufacturer typically costs as much as the price of a new item due to the several shipping fees and exchange fees involved. There are no such thing as equal exchanges when you order from a specialty store. We keep our policies in place to keep our prices as the lowest possible for being an actual storefront with more overhead than just an internet site.
All formal wear is considered special occasion wear and vice versa. Special Occasions wear are any occasion that you wear just a few times and often only once.
Please note, any change requests to an order must be made in writing via email and are not guaranteed and are subject to the no return policy.
Please note we are not just an internet store, but we have a physical storefront. We also have a professionally trained staff to assist you in this special time! Feel safe ordering with us, knowing again we are a physical store and not someone working out of their home. For your special occasion, don't compromise your special moment for some bargain internet price......work with a professional trained boutique who is located in the USA. All shipping is non-refundable.
Telephone calls and emails demanding for us to change our policy will not be tolerated. Please respect our policy. If our policy does meet your needs, we hate to see you go but we understand that you may need to shop with a store that allows items to be shipped multiple time.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATLY AND REPORT ANY ISSUES WITHIN 48 HOURS VIA EMAIL:

ALL ISSUES MUST BE REPORTED TO OUR INTERNET SALES MANAGER, Jay R., THROUGH EMAIL ONLY, NO TELEPHONE CALLS PLEASE.
Our manufacturers will not accept any damaged items back after two full days (48 hours of receiving the package). We will then send you a replacement item (EXACTLY as you originally ordered) at our expense. At times, proof maybe required. After 48 Hours, all sales final.
Please refrain from asking us to make an exception to our policies. DEMANDING phone calls and emails will not be tolerated. Click here to review our store policies.
Any items that are returned to us will be marked refused, unless prior arrangements have been made. All claims must made during your initial email reporting an issue.
