Light and airy fabrics, such as tulle and organza, are perfect for a daytime or Spring or Summer wedding since the weather and time of day can play a big role in the comfort of your wedding party. Heavy satins, velvets and silk shantungs are appropriate for evening, late Spring, Fall and Winter weddings and tend to portray a more formalized look. Also, the length of a dress portrays a certain look as well as being a safety issue. Tea length dresses, dresses that fall to mid-calf, are a better choice for the daytime and Spring/Summer weddings and for younger children as they tend to trip on a floor length dress. Longer, floor length dresses are better in for events in the latter part of the year and for evening events and are recommended for older children.
It’s important to decide how you want your flower girl, ring bearer, and if appropriate, junior bridesmaid, to be represented. Some brides choose to dress them in simple colors, such as white or ivory, and have their wedding accent colors on their garments such as a sash to bowtie, while other choose fabrics to the match their color scheme. You can choose them to look like little angels all dressed in white or mini replicas of the bride and groom in a floor length gown and black tuxedo.
Including your young attendant in the selection of their wedding attire will not only make them feel included and special, but may also ease your mind knowing they are comfortable and like what they are wearing on the big day.

Just provide us with the specific measurements and our trained fit staff will guide and advise you. Keep in mind that bridal and formal wear are not sized like most retail clothing. Your child may not fit into his or her special garment without a bit of alterations. This is standard in bridal garment manufacturing.
